Answer

Here we use b.names.append('wendy')

Because,

  • Here we have no elements to go with option(a. names[0] = 'Wendy') that is indexing.
  • we can use indexing only when we have elements present in a list.
  • so we append the element into the list(i.e names.append('wendy'))
