Perform the following division in binary: 111011 ÷ 101.

Answer

First compare 111011 / 101 to a / b:

a = 111011 and b = 101.

now convert a and b to decimal respectively to A and B.

Thus A = 59 and B = 5.

Thus A/B = 11.8.

Now convert A/B to binary to get the a/b answer:

a/b = 1011.11001100.

Thus the anwer is 1011.11001100.
