Lab 2: Publishing the Steve’s Screen Services Website
Problem: You work for a screening company called Steve’s Screen Services that specializes in
screening, cleaning, and repairing screened patios. You have created a website for the business and
now need to add a description meta tag and publish it. Figure 11–26 shows the published website,
as displayed in a desktop browser.

Instructions: Perform the following tasks:
1. Open your text editor and then open the index.html document in the lab2 folder and update
     the comment at the top of the page to include today’s date.
2. Insert a description meta tag with an appropriate content value.

3. Insert another meta tag that identifies the author.
4. Save your changes.
5. Publish the website files to a remote server.
6. View your published website in your browser and verify that all webpages and
     website content is published.
7. Submit the project in a format specified by your instructor.
8. Research how you can stop a robot from indexing a page. Discuss how and why you would do this.
